Subways don't have these anymore, but "straphanger" is still used as a term for a commuter on public transport.

More exciting, katilita's gentleman friend has a showing of his short film coming up! His senior thesis "Todd and His Pal Polk" is having its first ever showing as part of the Big Apple Film Festival this Thursday at 6:30pm. The screening is at The Anthology Film Archive (south-east corner of 2nd & 2nd). The soon-to-be-acclaimed director adds: "Plus after the show with your ticket will be dinner and drink specails at Telephone
